GemPages vs PageFly vs Atlas: Which Shopify Builder Wins? (Review)
.png)
As someone who's built dozens of Shopify stores over the last four years, I’ve tried it all—PageFly, GemPages, Shogun, you name it. But when I found Atlas, everything changed. It builds your entire store from a product link in under 60 seconds—copy, images, layout, upsells, and more. Here's how it stacks up against the rest.
1. Ease of Use
🔵 GemPages
Drag-and-drop builders look flexible, but the moment you try to make it feel like a real brand, you're stuck Googling how to change spacing, fix mobile layouts, or move elements.
🟡 PageFly
Slightly easier than GemPages, especially for beginners. But the time it takes to build a proper product page still adds up fast.
🟢 Atlas
Paste a product link. Click “Generate Store.” That’s it. Atlas gives you a full Shopify store with zero design or tech stress. Copy, pages, layouts—done.
Winner: Atlas – It’s not even close. It’s like hiring a designer, developer, and copywriter at once… but it takes 60 seconds.
2. Built-In Features
🔵 GemPages & 🟡 PageFly
These tools focus only on layout. You’ll still need extra apps (and more monthly fees) for:
- Bundling
- Upsells
- Copywriting
- Product image editing
🟢 Atlas
All of that is built in:
- AI-written copy that sounds like it came from an 8-figure DTC brand
- AI-generated product photos
- A built-in bundler and upsell app
- And a premium Shopify theme with animations and 30+ custom components/blocks.
Winner: Atlas – It replaced 4–5 tools I used to pay for. Game changer.
3. Conversion Optimization
🔵 GemPages
Too much bloat and fancy effects. It looks nice, but unless you’re an expert at CRO, it probably won’t convert well.
🟡 PageFly
Decent speed and UX. But still very dependent on how well you structure the page and write the copy.
🟢 Atlas
Pages are designed using proven 8-figure frameworks. Headlines, benefit stacks, social proof, urgency—all baked in automatically. My stores built with Atlas consistently convert better than my PageFly builds.
Winner: Atlas – It’s literally built for conversion. And it shows.
4. Speed to Launch
🔵 GemPages & 🟡 PageFly
Even if you’re fast, expect 2–4 hours per page. Add more time for writing, editing images, setting up bundles, and fixing spacing issues.
🟢 Atlas
I built my last store in 52 seconds. No joke.
Winner: Atlas – It’s the fastest tool I’ve ever used—and I’ve used everything.
5. Price & Value
🔵 GemPages
$29–$79/month, plus another $100+ for all the other apps you’ll need to make it function.
🟡 PageFly
Great starter plan, but you’ll quickly outgrow it. Premium plans cost more, and still don’t include copy, photos, or CRO tools.
🟢 Atlas
Starts at $29/month and includes:
- Copywriting engine
- AI Product Photo Generator
- Bundles and upsells (Apps Included)
- Premium Shopify theme and layout builder (Included)
Winner: Atlas – It’s the only tool that actually saves you money while increasing your speed and sales.
My Final Verdict as a Store Owner
If you’re building one store a year and want total design control, maybe PageFly or GemPages are for you. But if you’re like me—and you want to test, launch, and scale quickly—Atlas is the winner.
It’s the best tool I’ve found for:
- Launching one-product stores
- Testing ideas fast
- Building premium brands without hiring a team
