We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative who thrives in live chat environments, loves solving problems quickly, and can communicate with warmth, clarity, and precision. You’ll use Intercom to chat directly with merchants, troubleshoot issues, and create delightful moments that keep users coming back.

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support in SaaS or e-commerce.
  • Experience with Intercom (or similar chat-based support platforms).
  • Exceptional written communication skills clear, empathetic, and professional.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple live conversations without losing accuracy.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup with evolving priorities.
  • Team Player: You collaborate across teams, surface feedback to product and engineering, and advocate for the customer’s voice.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with Shopify apps support.
  • Knowledge with liquid and CSS.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide real-time support to merchants through Intercom live chat.
  • Troubleshoot issues, answer product questions, and guide users through setup and customization.
  • Deliver responses that are fast, empathetic, and easy to understand.
  • Collect and share customer feedback with the product and engineering teams to drive improvements.
  • Spot trends and issues, escalating them to the right teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and ship features for our AI-powered Shopify store builder—end to end.
  • Work across the stack using Ruby on Rails, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Heroku, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Shopify CLI.
  • Customize Shopify Apps and Themes (Liquid) and integrate third-party APIs (including OpenAI) to enhance functionality.
  • Optimize for speed, scalability, and reliability while debugging and solving technical challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product, and growth teams to refine and deliver features that wow our users.
  • Stay sharp: learn, experiment, and bring fresh ideas from emerging tech into Atlas.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development (professional or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency with Rails, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Heroku, and front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS).
  • Experience with Shopify development (apps, themes, Liquid).
  • Familiarity with API integrations and OpenAI tools.
  • A strong problem-solver who loves debugging, testing, and deploying production-ready code.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
